RocoMamas is one of South Africa’s fastest-growing casual dining restaurant chains, best known for introducing the popular smashburger style to the local food scene. The brand was launched in July 2013 by Brian Altriche in Randburg, Gauteng.
RocoMamas quickly gained attention for its bold rock-and-roll theme, open kitchen design, and highly customizable menu that allows customers to build their own burgers and meals. Its unique dining experience helped it grow rapidly across the country.
In 2015, the brand was acquired by the Spur Corporation, which supported its expansion into a major franchise network. Today, RocoMamas operates widely across South Africa and in several international markets including Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Cyprus.
