Doppio Zero is a well-known upscale café, bakery, and restaurant chain in South Africa. The brand first opened in March 2002 in Greenside, Johannesburg, as a small Italian-style coffee shop and bakery founded by Miki Milovanovic and Paulis Ward.

Over the years, Doppio Zero has grown into a popular restaurant brand with locations across South Africa and nearby African countries. It later became part of the Spur Corporation restaurant group.
The name “Doppio Zero” comes from the Italian term for “Double Zero” flour, a very fine flour used to make authentic Italian pizzas and pasta. The restaurant is loved for its stylish European café atmosphere, fresh bakery items, handmade meals, and use of high-quality seasonal ingredients.
